A former arsenic mine with realgar and minor stibnite, in an Early Miocene brittle structure (Matra Fault). A high-temperature fluid (about 290 °C, 9 wt% NaCl equivalent) boiled at 500 to 800 m depth, then mixed with meteoric waters; a magmatic component linked to the opening of the Tyrrhenian Sea is likely.
