UraniumU
- Type
- Vein-type uranium (parsonsite, torbernite)
A former uranium mine in the western Lachaux sector, where ore was also processed from 1948. More than 30,000 t of tailings are stored there. The local ore is mainly parsonsite, a lead-uranium phosphate whose natural lead masks the radiogenic signature, and torbernite.

| Value | Range | n | Mineral or matrix | Source |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 3.65 | torbernite (quartz vein) Approximate value given in the text (about 3.65). | Geng et al. (2024), Unveiling the origins and transport processes of radioactive pollutan… | ||
| 9.6 | pitchblende or coffinite (waste dump) Approximate value (about 9.60). As Rophin contains no pitchblende, this ore would come from Bois-Noirs, according to mining history. | Geng et al. (2024), Unveiling the origins and transport processes of radioactive pollutan… |
